The Kind of May Day it is

Hello Beautiful!

The month of May is almost upon us, a time when nature comes alive, symbolizing rebirth and the bountiful abundance of life. This is the perfect time for us to embrace this abundance and cultivate a deeper sense of gratitude in our lives.

The Kind of May Day it is
If days were colors
I would name this one pink,
a pale pink like the rose quartz
pendant I wear, like the insides
of seashells or the colors of the blouses
my mother seemed to collect, box after box
of blouses we filled the day we finally
arrived to empty her apartment--my sister,
my niece, my aunt and I, all of us somehow
working steadily as one that summer day,
holding each other up through sheer purpose
and necessity of our task. Some of her blouses
I took home with me: the one patterned with white
blossoms and doves, the striped flannel,
the plain Oxford she wore in my favorite photo.
I keep them in my closet beside my long skirts
and jumpers, many of them pink now, my chosen
color, to remind myself always of her
beauty and gentleness like this May
day arriving with and without her." From Mothershell by Andrea Poto

(I love this poem as it touches on ALL things which mother and nuture us)

There are so many ways to welcome the month of May and embrace the peak of spring. Here are some lovely traditions that many follow (and you may want to too!) to celebrate this time of year:

  • May Day Celebrations: May 1st is traditionally celebrated as May Day in many cultures. It's often associated with springtime festivities, including dancing around the Maypole, flower crowns, and community gatherings. In some countries, it's also a labor day, honoring workers and their contributions.
  • Mother's Day: In many countries, the second Sunday of May is dedicated to celebrating mothers and motherhood. It's a day when we honor our mothers with gifts, cards, and special gestures of appreciation. Often gathering for meals or activities to celebrate the joy of a mother's love.
  • Spring Festivals: May is a vibrant month for many spring festivals around the world. These festivals often include cultural events, music, dance, food, and various outdoor activities. For example, the Chelsea Flower Show in London celebrates horticulture, while Cinco de Mayo in Mexico and some parts of the United States commemorates Mexican culture and heritage.

To honor the month that is dedicated to the divine feminine, I have organized the "Miracles and Magic Tribe: A Month of Gratitude, Abundance, & Grace". Throughout the entire month, we'll be immersing ourselves in gratitude, abundance, and the enchantment of life's myriad blessings, thus becoming super attractors to our hearts' deepest desires.

This journey begins with the celebration of May Day, a day traditionally known for its deep cultural significance, embodying themes of connection, community, and rebirth. We're planning to honor the feminine essence in all its forms—creativity, nurturing, love, and beauty, which are embodied by women.

Throughout the month, we'll have daily practices, each designed to increase our gratitude, abundance, intuition and love. These exercises are intended to help us connect more profoundly with ourselves and the world around us.

A quick outline of our month-long journey includes:

  1. A virtual May Day celebration introduce "Abundant Grace" and open the Divine Feminie Circle.
  2. Short daily assignments: the practice of Ho'oponopono, gratitude exercises, abundance meditations, and intuition development activities.
  3. An optional soul coach sessions.
  4. A Fire/ Cacao closing ceremony on May 31st to close the Circ;e.

For this first time Group, the energy exchange is $55. However, if you invite a friend, you each pay just $40! Benefits of membership include the two workshops, daily exercises, intuitive practices, hypnosis meditation, daily support, unlimited messaging, workbook and discounts on other offerings.

If you're interested, you can sign up here. Looking forward to embarking on this transformative journey with you while fostering a sense of fulfillment and enrichment as we move forward on the wheel of the year.
